Delectable flavours are pleasantly complemented with anecdotes about the island’s history and the legends behind some of our culinary rituals. Plus, in-between tastings, you’ll get to learn more about Downtown’s intriguing history and architecture, including the bright art and cultural artifacts adorning this beautiful location.
The Tour also includes a stop at the revered Trench Town Culture Yard where Bob Marley once lived, and where he co-wrote the hit song, “No Woman No Cry”, with his friend and mentor, Tarta. Today’s Culture Yard has a small museum depicting the history of Trench Town and showcasing instruments and artifacts used by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer.
